The Charlie Tonic Hour Episode #32 – Spirituality, Summer Films and the Quaker
It’s interesting that one of the more difficult topics Ginny Tonic and Charlie have ever covered on the show would be the question of spirituality. This week, they both discuss a side of their life that hasn’t been public and are brutally honest about their quest to a broader understanding of a side of life that is tough to explain. From there, we share movie reviews of both Abraham Lincoln and the Amazing Spider-Man films then settle into a Bottoms Up segment, music and the close. This week we promise a very interesting episode.

The Charlie Tonic Hour Episode #26 - Bikinis, Avatars and a Good Rum
We’re back from Florida and back behind the microphone filling the airwaves with conversation, opinions and the occasional innuendo.  This week, Ginny Tonic shares her thoughts on buying a bikini and challenging yourself, she and Charlie chat about the first two episodes of the new Avatar animated series and sample a very interesting (and cheap) rum. Guest Author: Muffy Morrigan
Joining Pandoracon in September is author of  The Sail Weaver, The Hunt: A Custodes Noctis Book, The Legacy: A Custodes Noctis Book, and The Summoning … Muffy Morrigian.
How to describe Muffy? Perhaps would be best if we let her do the introductions in her own words …
I was born in California on a sunny Labor Day weekend. I would like to say that was the beginning of my writing career but, sadly, it took several months for me to manage my first word. Much to the dismay of my parents, who were expecting “Mommy” or “Daddy”, my first word was, in fact “fish”. Shortly thereafter came words two and three, still not the expected ones. No, I was living the outdoor life and so “tree” and “bear” were the beginnings of my verbal odyssey.
My writing career began at age six, when I wrote a science fiction novel, made several copies by hand and sold them to the neighbors for the huge profit of ten cents. Several years later, I wrote something close to a complete novel, another science fiction adventure, complete with space battles, evil geniuses and a talking caterpillar.
Several years at University let me pursue my love of history, archaeology and theater (I will admit that is an unlikely trio) as well as the English language. While there, I embarked on an epic writing adventure which, thankfully, is lost in a box somewhere. I won’t mention the topic specifically, but let’s just say three words in random order trek, geek, star. Don’t judge me.
After leaving graduate school and having my dreams of becoming a Grand Prix driver foiled, I embarked on a series of jobs and proto-careers that all led me back to writing. Each added a little depth, and finally came full circle. After writing for nearly every print source imaginable: weekly magazines, daily, weekly and alternative newspapers – and everything from obituaries to columns and reviews – I decided it was time to make the leap off the cliff and return to my first love – fiction.

Daleks get into Pandoracon for free!
At Pandoracon we welcome our misunderstood genocidal metal encased friends! All live-sized Daleks always get into Pandoracon for free (who would dare try and charge a Dalek for a badge?) and they can even bring one guest for free.
We want to amass a Dalek army to take on the army of Doctors who will amass for Pandoracon. Only with the help of the Daleks can we successfully imprison the Doctor(s) in our con jail Pandorica, and we might even have a Dalek beauty pageant!
If you have a life-size Dalek as a supreme ruler of your household, or know someone who does, please leave us a message below and we will make arrangements give you and your Dalek a free weekend badge to Pandoracon!

EPISODE #23 - WORLD STEAM EXPO ROAD SHOW 2012

We’re back with a brand new Road Show podcast as Charlie, Ginny Tonic and Aloysius Fox are joined for the first time by Halcyon Hazzard. What is a Road Show? Road Show podcasts are recorded at, typically, 70 MPH in a moving automobile and they’re done live without breaks or edits. It’s a stream of consiuosness take on the convention done shortly after leaving the show. In these episodes, you hear the stories, the excitement and this week we’re covering the World Steam Expo.  We go from discussing the con to the music of the show to the parties in just over an hour. Pop this episode in the car stereo and ride along with us as we look back on a very fun show.
